couples counseling: tarot edition

let's unfuck your relationship with the tarot, one card at a time.
couples counseling

hello, friends. we all have a relationship with tarot — with the deck as a whole, but also with individual cards.

my question for you: how is that relationship feeling right now? when you look at your tarot deck do you feel all warm and fuzzy? do you feel the rush of a new crush or a new friend or a new social group? do you feel intimacy building, trust growing, new adventures beckoning?

or do you feel a little... irritated? frustrated? annoyed? do you look at your deck and feel resentment, or anger, or distance? do you think about your last few readings and roll your eyes, or sigh heavily, or want to shove your deck in a cabinet and never talk to it again?

i get it. i've been there. and if you're sick of being mad at your tarot cards, my new workshop series is here to help.

introducing couples counseling: tarot edition.

couples counseling

couples counseling is a live workshop series for anyone who's ready to unfuck and untangle their relationship with the tarot, one card at a time. this isn't about ignoring all of the sticky parts of your practice — it's about being real with yourself about what isn't working in your tarot relationship, so that you can reach for your cards with trust and anticipation rather than dread, irritation, or confusion.

your relationship with your cards impacts everything from your questions to your interpretations to your techniques — but most importantly, it impacts how you feel when you're reading tarot. couples counseling workshops will help you not only better understand your own patterns and blind spots when it comes to your tarot practice, they'll help you learn how to better work with the specific cards that bring up intense responses for you.

the best part? you don't have to do any of it alone. these live interactive workshops include journaling and reflection questions along with tarot spreads, mind mapping, and plenty of opportunities to share — which means you'll walk away from every workshop with new perspectives on the cards, new friends who are in the same place as you, and new ways to work with the tarot moving forward.

our first workshop is on the world archetype — and it's happening on november 22nd. sign up now for $66 — or join my hermitage membership program and get this workshop (along with all future workshops and a ton of other perks to transform your tarot practice) included as part of your monthly rate.

the first eleven signups for this workshop (whether via individual purchase or new hermitage membership) will get a bonus personal mini tarot reading from me!

eager to get started? curious if this workshop or the hermitage might be a good fit for you? i wrote you a few tarot spreads:

where you & your cards stand:
your current relationship with tarot / a reality to celebrate / an assumption to challenge

roses & thorns:
something special you bring to your tarot readings / something unique about your connection with the cards / a blind spot that you have when it comes to your practice / a habit you have that is tripping you up

you & the world (pull the world card out of your deck and keep it on your reading surface for this one):
your current relationship with the world archetype / something this card has to teach you / a limiting belief you have about this card

i also want to offer a few journaling questions that you can explore on your own, as another way of getting started:

how do you feel when you reach for your tarot cards these days? what emotions or sensations bubble up for you, and how long has it been that way? what patterns are you in with your cards and your practice right now, and which of those patterns are really working for you — or not working for you?

when you think about the world archetype specifically, what feelings emerge? how do you feel when you receive this card in readings, or when you work with it outside of your readings? what does it mean to you, and where did those associations come from?

when you consider the goals you're working toward, the relationships you're investing in, and the dreams that you're carefully tending, how do you envision tarot fitting into that work? what kind of relationship would you like to build with your cards, and how does it feel to name that for yourself?

love these questions, spreads, ideas, and dreams? join me for our first couples counseling workshop — you'll walk away with a clearer, more functional relationship with the tarot, and will have actionable rituals, readings, and routines that you can integrate into your tarot practice to deepen your connection with all of the cards in the deck.

our first workshop is on november 22nd — and i can't wait to see you there.
