hello, friends! this is a quick note to let you know that i've got some upcoming in-person events and digital teach-ins, starting with a tarot chat TONIGHT!
wednesday june 18th at 6pm EST // digital: i'll be doing a teach-in q&a with my friend the brilliant astrologer sasha ravitch! we're gonna talk about developing a healthy, sustainable relationship with the cards that is stabilizing and empowering (rather than slipping into panic-and-paranoia territory). this live event will be recorded and is open to anyone in sasha's patreon, as well as anyone who's in my discord (which is open to current paid newsletter subscribers and everyone in the 3am.tarot conservatory!). paid subscribers can scroll to the bottom for the zoom link!
tuesday june 24th at 7pm EST // astoria bookshop, NYC: my monthly free tarot meetup is always the last tuesday of the month, and we'd love to hang out with you! we'll chat tarot, pull cards together, and get to know fellow tarot readers in the area. you can RSVP here.
monday july 7th at 7pm EST // astoria bookshop, NYC: tarot spreads pub day book party! i'll be in conversation with my dear friend writer heather hogan! we'll do a convo on tarot and spreads and the book and probably also writing and queer things and living as an immunocompromised person, plus will also have an audience q&a and i can sign your book! the event is free and you can RSVP here.
wednesday july 16th at 6:30pm EST // lofty pigeon bookshop, NYC: tarot spreads brooklyn launch party! i'll be in conversation with the lovely illustrator and author cat willett, and we're gonna chat about tarot history, card imagery, using spreads in readings, and whatever else comes up. we'll also do an audience q&a and book signing. the event is free.
thursday august 28th at 8pm EST // digital: teach-in with the incredible theresa reed, aka the tarot lady! i'll walk you through writing your own tarot spread, offering some tips and tricks to help you craft a layout that actually works for you, and we'll also chat about tarot, spreads, and more. this will be for members of theresa's patreon, but if i'm able to invite y'all too i'll share more details later this summer.
as a bonus teaser, JULY DATE TBD // digital: we're still setting this up but i'm going to do a teach-in with captolia as part of her amazing coven group! we're gonna talk witchy publishing, tarot, and almost certainly a host of other things, and i'll share more details as they're available.
i'm also appearing on a number of podcasts and interviews all summer long, so even if you can't make these events, you'll be able to hear me talking to some wonderful people all about tarot, spreads, writing, spiritual practice, and more.
